Supporting Working Families

by fostering stable, affordable communities

Community Engagement is essential during every step in the process.

Initially, Allagash seeks out discussions about community needs with civic and religious leaders and charitable organizations.

Allagash follows up with discussions with prospective tenants about their goals for housing and their community.

Property management continues this engagement for the life of the investment to maximize the benefits of the process both for families and investors.

Allagash implements targetted renovation programs that upgrade aging rental properties, improving safety and comfort for working families. Our approach first addresses mandatory safety issues at each property and then proceeds to items that serve to enhance comfort as well. FInally, when feasible, we may also include items like energy-efficient upgrades and additional amenities.

Research finds that school performance. work success, and local business prosperity all improved when low-/moderate-income households had increased access to safe, stable affordable housing.

Stable, Affordable housing

empowers working families

Does Allagash collaborate with local governments or nonprofits?

Yes, we actively seek to collaborate and partner with local non-profit organizations and municipal agencies to align our investing with broader community development goals. These partnerships can enhance community member access to services and resources, such as financial literacy workshops and employment assistance. In addition to improving quality-of-life for tenants, Allagash property performance benefits from  vital community support.
